The team led by Jake Curtiss took top honors at the annual Peter Mitchell Par 3 Golf Tournament posting a 9 under par 45. They got off to a fast start on the front 9 with a 7 under par 20 and held on to beat the team headed by Garrett Mack by a single stroke.
The tournament featured a full field of 18 teams of 4 golfers each. The tournament paid the first 2 places and then held 4 random draws. There were special hole prizes on each hole. The longest putt on hole l was by team Sand Jokela -45 feet, 6 ½ inches; Hole 3 by team Ivan Johnson 29 feet 10 inches; Hole 5 team Jace Romono 42 feet 7 inches; Hole 7 team Merle Vandervest 70 feet 6 inches. The closest to the pin prizes went to: Hole 2 team Kerenen 5 feet 2 inches; Hole 4 Jaclyn Romano 7 feet 11 inches; Hole 6 team Carter Manning 5 inches (just missed a hole in one); Hole 8 team Curtiss 6 ½ inches (another close one); Hole 9 team Jokela 4 feet l inch.
