Dear Editor: The Friends of the Babbitt Public Library thank all who participated in any way to our fund raiser during Peter Mitchell Days. Our bingo in the Municipal Gymnasium on Saturday was a real success.
We couldn’t have done it without all our volunteers setting up and taking down tables & chairs, the volunteers at the event, Jimmy Zup and Nick Wognum for their contributions, Gary Herberg for calling the numbers, and, of course, the bingo players.
We did things a little differently this year and judging from your comments after the games, it was a good decision. Working together, we’ll do it again next year.
Events like this help all of us support our public library. Again, THANK YOU, EVERYONE!
