The annual Harvest Festival will be held on Oct. 12 with doors opening at 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Municipal Gym. Tables are available for crafters at $10 per eight feet. The Babbitt Weekly News will host a second candidate forum at the Babbitt city hall in the council chambers. Mayoral candidates have been invited to a Oct. 14 forum starting at 6 p.m. Candidates will respond to questions from Babbitt Weekly Publisher Nick Wognum on pertinent city issues.
The Annual Harvest Party at Babbitt Assembly of God Church is back inside on Thursday, Oct. 31 5:30-7 p.m. A free hot dog meal will be served.
