The second, third, and fourth holes in one took place in two days.
In a most unusual situation, two of the holes in one were shot only a couple hours apart. On Wednesday morning, Aug. 7, Dave Kriska, playing with Kenny Frank and John Kittelson, used his rescue club to ace hole number three. This was Dave’s first ever ace.
As Dave and his group were toasting his good fortune, Todd Esala walked into the clubhouse and said he just shot his first hole in one on number three using his six iron. According to Todd, the ball hit the green, took a bounce and found the bottom of the cup. I can’t remember ever having two aces in the same day.
The following day, I got a text from my daughter-in-law Tami, also our clubhouse manager, informing me that Steve Nauer just had a hole in one on number three using his nine iron. That makes it four aces in less than a month as John Youngman had one in July.
