The team of John Youngman, Jake Curtiss, and Justin Hirdler took top honors in the second annual three person scramble.
They shot a five par 30 on the front nine, and duplicated that with another five under par on the second nine in a day that featured three weather delays due to thunderstorm activity.
Jason Homer, Tommy Homer and Jordan Richards won the tiebreaker hole to take second with an eight under par 62. They edged out the team of Jeff Viola, Rob Nelson, and Cory Nelson.
There were three random draws for those teams not in the top three places. The winners were the team of John Powell, Steve Lynch, Steven Sundberg, the team of Brian Lamppa,AaronLamppaandRegan Lamppa, and the team of Matt Zimmer, John Kramer and Cory Penti. One of the random draws was won by a team that finished last, which shows anybody has a chance to cash.
There were five skins out. Homer’s team won two of them with birdies on four and 16. The team of Swede Larson, Tom Burns, and Roger Kogler had a birdie on nine. John Youngman’s team birdied 13, and the team of Mark Youngman, Nate Breden and Tracy Pearson had an eagle on 15.
Special thanks to the clubhouse crew of Tami Lassi and Dena Roseth, the grounds crew headed by John Youngman for having the course in tip top condition, our beer cart girls of Tami Barich and Sara Powell, to Garrett Mack for organizing the tournament and to Hoov and Jim for score keeping.
