On June 14 at 7:22 p.m. the Lake County Dispatch received a call of a male on Isabella Lake with an arm injury that was heavily bleeding.
The male was being transported by canoe to BWCA Entry Point 35 on Isabella Lake.
Dispatch requested that Lifelink (helicopter) respond to the Forest Center Landing Zone near Isabella Lake.
At 8:18 p.m. Lake County Rescue arrived on scene and transported the male patient to the landing zone, and at 8:33 p.m. Lifelink had the patient loaded and was in the air.
Agencies assisting the Lake County Sheriff’s Office during this incident were Lake County Rescue, Lake County Ambulance, Babbitt Fire and Lifelink.
