Stone Stash is back on Friday

SEVENTH Ely Stone Stash is back Friday. Joe Baltich said he has 125 painted rocks to hide that he spent 160 hours painting. The sponsor is Into The Brush, where the location will be announced on its Facebook page. Thursday at 9 a.m. there will be a clue posted to where the rocks are stashed. “I’m going to do two spots and they’re both on public land,” said Baltich. There is a one rock limit with “catch and release on all the rest.” There is also a golden moose rock that includes a print. There is no cost to participate.
