NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST
FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT ON PROPERTY
IN LAKE COUNTY, MINNESOTA.
Notice is hereby given that the Lake County Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on behalf of, and authorized by, the Lake County Board of Commissioners on December 19, 2022, at 6:45 P.M. in the County Highway Department Building, 1513 Hwy 2, Two Harbors MN, and via streaming at the Fall Lake Township Hall, at which time interested parties shall have the opportunity to discuss the granting of the following request:
In accordance with Lake County Land Use Ordinance #12, an application for a Conditional Use has been filed by Dean Bushey, Log Cabin Hideaways. At the request of the applicant, the originally noticed hearing for November was rescheduled for December 2022. The request, if approved, would allow for the addition of a third cabin, sauna, and privy to the existing 2-cabin resort. The property in question is legally described as: the N½ & S ½ of the SW ¼ of the NE ¼, and the SE ¼ of the NE ¼ all in Section 23, Township 63, Range 10W; 80 acres total; Zoned FR/Forest-Recreation District & RR/Residential Recreational, Fall Lake Township.
