Patricia "Pat" Lammi

Patricia L. Lammi, 88, died December 4, 2022, at home in Ely. She was born in 1934 in Ely to Jacob and Mary (Melovasich) Strezishar as the fourth of five children. Pat grew up in Chandler Location and was a life-long Ely resident.
In 1956, Pat married Raymond Lammi at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She was involved in many good works over her lifetime, serving God and community, including religious education instruction, rosary group, Bible study, Ely city councilor, and sat on the boards of many organizations. She greatly enjoyed her time taking calls for WELY during polka hour. Pat worked at the Ely Shopper and retired with over 20 years as water and light billing clerk for the City of Ely. She was instrumental in computerization of city utility billing.
Survivors are children, grand- and great-grandchildren: Lois Lammi; Mary (Gary) Harms, Erin (Kevin) Mottram, Maximus and Jett, Jaime (Ben Wright) Harms, Crew and Colbie, Anne (Anthony) Houkom, Harper and Beckham, Amber (Ryan Butler) Harms; Rick (Shelly) Lammi, Becky Lammi, Zach (Anna) Lammi; Barbara (Jason) Larson, Peter (Jenna) Larson, Porter and Hayes; Bob Lammi.
Preceded in death by her husband, Ray, parents, sister Dolly Fink and brothers, Jack, Tom, and Dick Strezishar.
The family would like to thank staff at Ely Carefree Living and Essentia Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Ely Carefree Living activities department or St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
There will be a funeral mass on December 23, 2022 at 11 am at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church.
Family arrangements have been entrusted to Kerntz Funeral Home of Ely.
