Cathryn Mary Housey, 66, of Sartell, MN formerly of Ely and Duluth, MN passed away peacefully on April 17, 2024 with her family by her side. She is the youngest of five children. She was born in Torrance, California in November 23, 1957 to Robert and Shirley Klaesges of Ely. 

Cathy was an amazing and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. 

Cathy is survived by her husband, Randy Housey of Sartell, MN, her son Anthony Housey of Albany, MN, daughter Kimberlee Housey of Sartell, MN, granddaughter Cailin Bowdich of Sartell, MN and grandson Jacob Housey of Albany, MN. A brother David Klaesges of Ely, MN and a sister Jean Zaverl of Ely, MN. A sister-in-law and brother-in-law Robyn and Gary Rasset of Mayer, MN. And many nieces and nephews. 

She is preceded in death by her brother Stephen Klaesges, her older sister Susan Frederick, her parents Shirley and Robert Klaesges and her in-laws Betty and Leonard Housey. 

A private family memorial will be held at a later date.
