Diane Dawn Vesel

Diane Dawn Vesel (Beseman) was born August 14, 1957 and was carried to the Lord on the wings of her father and mother, Donald and Myrtle on 11/23/24. Diane was one of five daughters and grew up in Embarrass, MN. Her beloved husband Dave held her hand as she met her Savior, Jesus, face to face and was reunited with loved ones who had gone before her.
Diane married the love of her life, Dave Vesel in 1978. Together they built a life of love and commitment as they raised their two sons, Christopher and Joshua. Diane and Dave were inseparable throughout their 47-year marriage - soulmates and best friends, they enjoyed hobbies together in their retirement. Chris and Josh were Diane’s pride and joy. She treasured her role as a mother to her boys.
She loved the outdoors, her furry friends and even her chickens. Diane was a woman of strong faith and kept that faith through the pain of those final days. God saw her unwavering trust in the last days and spoke peace into her troubled storm. Jesus holds her now.
She is survived by her devoted husband Dave, sons Christopher and Joshua; sisters Val Bovitz (Larry), Beth Rogge (Mark), Karen Ostlund (Kevin) and Pam Roseth (Dan); mother-in-law Rosemary Vesel, sisters-in-law Deb Atwood, Geri Saari (Brian), Sandy Vesel, Sherry Vesel and brother-in-law Terry Vesel (Lisa) along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Donald and Myrtle Beseman, father-in-law John Vesel, and brothers-in-law Tom Atwood, Mickey Vesel and John Vesel.
To honor her memory, a service will be held on May 3rd at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Babbitt at 11:00 AM. Diane will be missed more than words can say as she was so special to so many. Her light remains…there are some who bring a light so great to the world that even after they have gone, their light remains. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
