She was born March 9, 1936, in Ely, MN to Albin and Angela (Pucel) Jerich. She graduated from Grand Marais High School in 1954. She attended UMD and was a graduate of Northland School of Cosmetology. She enjoyed roller skating, skiing, snowmobiling and most of all she enjoyed spending time with family on their houseboat.

Shirley grew up in Lutsen, MN for the early years of her life until she met John Przybylski. They were married for 59 years. They married in Ely, MN and then moved to Babbitt, where they raised their three children. They ran the North Babbitt Bait Shop with their family for 11 years.

Shirley is survived by her son Michael (Julie) Przybylski, daughter Jody (Timothy) Wind, and son Mark Przybylski; grandchildren Ryan (Meghan) Przybylski, Jordan (Danielle) Przybylski, Kaitlyn (Caleb) Wind, and Taylor (Hunter) Wind; and great-grandchildren Paisley, Bennett and Brooks, along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister, Janet Olson.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband John, parents, sister Karen Woods and niece Michelle Woods.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the St. Pius X Catholic Church in Babbitt, MN. The burial will be at the Argo Cemetery following.
