Carol Ann Lindbeck, age 77, passed away in her home on Shagawa Lake in Ely, MN on Sunday, February 25th, 2024. 

Carol was born on July 13th, 1946 in Neillsville, Wisconsin and later moved to Ely, Minnesota with her parents and siblings. She was a graduate of Ely Memorial High School. She married Calvin Lindbeck and raised one daughter, Valerie. Carol was known for her local store, Psycho Art, and her long-term employment at Northshore Mining. She was also a very talented softball player, bowler, and gardener. 

She is survived by her sister Barb (John) Erickson, brother Jim, granddaughter Carlie (Chris) Schneider, nieces, nephews, and anticipated great-granddaughter due September 2024. 

She is preceded in death by her daughter Valerie (Garland) Wright, her husband Calvin Lindbeck, siblings Louis Jr., Robert, and Ronald; and parents Louis and Eva Lesar.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Semer’s Park on Saturday, July 13th, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The family does not expect flowers or condolences – donations may be made to Ely Volunteer Fire Department.
