Lois (Elva) was born on 9/9/1950 in Salt Lake City Utah to Frank and Elva Guinn.

She graduated from Las Vegas High school in 1968.  She moved to Ely in 1975 where she met the love of her life Bruce. They were married later that summer on August 11, 1975.  Together they raised four children, their daughter and her three step children.

Lois had spent many of her years in Ely gardening, guiding hiking trails, skiing, bowling and sharing a passion of fishing with her husband not to mention heading family fish fry’s.

Lois was instrumental in her husbands logging business from 1975 until its ending in 2019.

Lois was best known to her family members for her sense of humor, competitive nature on game nights, but most of all, her huge heart. Lois was always giving to others in any way she could.  She was a faithful and dedicated member of First Lutheran Church, where she spent hours volunteering and loved assisting in the Vacation Bible School program with her granddaughter.

She leaves behind her loving husband Bruce, her daughter Jennifer (Tom Sr.) Nemanich and their three children Josephine, Tom Jr.  and Anthony. Stepchildren Sheila Kainz Sunsdahl and her three children Erik, Josh (Ashley) and Kylee.  Scott (Michelle) Kainz and their children Ashley and Zach. Travis (Kristi) Kainz and their children Rachelle, Trent & Elijah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Theodore Guinn.

No arrangements have been made at this time.  Please keep her family in your prayers.
