REQUEST FOR ELECTION JUDGES
The City of Ely is accepting applications for Election Judges for the 2024 Election Season. The Presidential Primary is on March 5, 2024, the Primary Election is on August 13, 2024 and the General Election is on November 5, 2024. We will also need election judges to serve on the Absentee Ballot Board for each election.
Judges must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Minnesota for at least 20 days. Election training will be provided prior to the election.
Application forms for an Election Judge can be found on the City website at www.ely.mn.us/elections or at the City Hall on the table in the foyer or the Clerk’s Office, located at 209 E Chapman St., Ely MN 55731. If you have questions, please call our office at 218-365-3224 Ext 1.

TOWNSHIP ELECTION
Notice is hereby given to qualified voters of the TOWN OF MORSE, St. Louis County, State of Minnesota, that filing for town office will be held for a two-week period beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Affidavits of Candidacy can be filed with Town Clerk Nick Wognum, by calling 218-343-2019. Filing dates are from Tuesday, January 2, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2024. The Morse Town Hall will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 for the end of the filing period.
Offices to be filled at the March 12, 2024 Annual Election at the Morse Town Hall are:

TO ALL INTERESTED PERSONS AND CREDITORS:
It is Ordered and Notice is hereby given that on the 5th day of February, 2024, at 9:30 o’clock A.M., a hearing will be held in the above-named Court at the St. Louis County Court House, Virginia, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the will of the above-named decedent, dated January 19th, 2011, and for the appointment of David A. Solberg, whose address is 21 Fern Court, Babbitt, MN 55706, as executor of the estate of the above-named decedent, and that any objections thereto must be filed with the Court. That, if proper, and no objections are filed, the personal representative will be appointed to administer the estate, to collect all assets, pay all legal debts, claims, taxes, and expenses, and sell real and personal property, and do all necessary acts for the estate.
