Studio North Dancers compete at fourth and final regional competition

Studio North Dancers competed at their fourth and final regional competition of the season. They finished with overall high scores and several judge’s choice and category awards. The Celebration Dance Competition was held April 3-5, at the DECC in Duluth.

Results from the regional competition qualified them to compete at the Celebration National Competition held in Duluth at the DECC, June 25-30.

• Junior Lyrical Solo - “Control” - Audrey Engen - High Gold & Showstopper Award

• Petite Jazz Small Group - “Dance The Night Away” - Platinum, first place in category, Clean Choreography Award, Overall High Score in age group: River Carter, Anna Cao, Brynna Cook, Paige Jussila, Harper Kainz, Hadleigh Myers, Sunny Weissert

• Petite Musical Theater Small Group - “Wear Your Crown” - High Gold, 1st in Category, 2nd Place High Score in age group: River Carter, Anna Cao, Brynna Cook, Paige Jussila, Harper Kainz, Hadleigh Myers, Sunny Weissert

• Petite Jazz Duet - “Shake It Off” - Brynna Cook & Paige Jussila - High Gold, 1st Place in Category, Judge’s Choice Award - High Energy

• Petite Jazz Solo - “My Boyfriend’s Back” - Hadleigh Myers - Platinum, 1st Place in Category, Overall High Score, Dancer of the Year Finalist
