Officer responded to the local school for a report of a student having a mental health crisis. Officer assisted staff and family with resources.

Officers braved start of the week’s snow and rain to complete their annual MN POST-mandated firearms, taser, and defensive tactics training. Thanks to support from the St. Louis County’s Attorney’s Office, a free class on legislative updates and constitutional case law was also hosted in Babbitt for regional law enforcement agencies. Attendees included officers from Babbitt Ely, and Breitung Police Department.

Officers made four traffic stops. Warnings given for various traffic and equipment violations.
