A Babbitt woman was involved in an accident on Hwy. 73 in Hibbing on Wednesday at 12:24 p.m.
The State Patrol reported that Bethel Byrne Blocker, age 71, was driving a 2015 Ford Expedition southbound on Hwy. 73 when a 19-year-old Hibbing man in a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado pulled out in front her.
Mitch Carter Leseman, age 19, of Hibbing was identified as the driver of the Silverado. He also had a passenger, Tatym Lynne Witman, age 24, of Hibbing.
Both vehicle drivers and the passenger in the Silverado were all wearing seat belts and transported to Fairview University Medical Center in Hibbing with non-life-threatening injuries.
