Despite some tight shooting quarters, Ely’s Sabrah Hart shot a perfect 50 in Bullseye on her way to a first-place finish in archery last weekend.
Hart won the high school girls division at the North Woods 3D and Bullseye Tournaments. On her way to victory, Hart scored 285 of 300 to win the high school girls title and she was one of three Ely archers to medal.
Other medalists and their scores were:
•Abby DeNio, 182, third place, fourth grade girls;
•Aspen MacCoy, 218, fourth place, fifth grade girls;
• Hayden Weidemann, 274 fourth place, middle school boys;
• Payson Kundinger, 271, fourth place, middle school gilrs;
• Talan Hart, 273, fifth place, middle school boys;
• Wyatt Carlson, 237, fifth place, middle school boys.
Seven other Ely competitors had top-10 performances.
In 3D, Ely was third in the middle school division and second in elementary, while in Bullseye, Ely took second in middle school and third in elementary.
Ely 3D personal bests went to Bria LaMontagne, Charlie Hway, Gordon Smith, Laydan Hart, Mason Lee, Natalie Bermel, Osker Metes, Sawyer Anderson, Sawyer Chick and Sawyer Kannas.
Scoring Bullseye personal bests were Abby DeNio Bria LaMontagne, Charlie Hway, Jenna Bermel, Levi Mattila, Max Ice, Natalie Bermel, Ryann Schlosser, Sabrah Hart, Sawyer Anderson, Sawyer Chick, Sawyer Kannas, Talan Hart, Tommy Hway and Wyatt Carlson Ely’s Sabrah Hart made the 50-point club while Edge of the Pines Designs served as Ely’s tournament sponsor.
