Ely Chamber schedules three job fairs in March

The Ely Chamber of Commerce has planned three area job fairs during March.

An Ely area job fair is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5, from 4-6 p.m. at the USFS Kawishiwi Ranger Station. The second is a Tower area job fair scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, from 4-6 p.m. at the Herb Lamppa Civic Center. Both events are open to the public.

The third job fair is for high school students from the Ely, Winton Tower, Soudan and Babbitt areas. The host site is the Ely High School at the cafeteria on Thursday, March 20, from 8-10 a.m.

“These job fairs offer a great opportunity to connect with local employers, explore career options, and learn about current job openings,” said Chamber director Eva Sebesta “Some businesses will conduct on-the-spot interviews and provide information about their companies. The Chamber will also have job resources available at each location.”
