Each year, LeadingAge Minnesota’s Outstanding Leadership award, recognizes an individual whose leadership is demonstrated through vision, servanthood, mentoring others, and a commitment to older adults.

Adam Masloski, executive director at Boundary Waters Care Center, has been presented with this award from LeadingAge Minnesota. BWCC is managed by Health Dimensions Group, a senior living, post-acute and long-term care consulting and management firm based in Minneapolis.

“Thank you so much to LeadingAge Minnesota for this honor, I greatly appreciate it,” Masloski said. “My team at Boundary Waters Care Center and I are devoted to providing residents and families with an enriched senior living experience. I could not do what I do without their skills and support, and I am thankful to have the opportunity to help our residents confidently live their best lives.”

For more than 17 years, Masloski has been the face of aging services at Boundary Waters Care Center in Ely, having served in multiple roles through the years.

Masloski’s care and attentive listening to everyone at BWCC—residents, family members, and team members alike—sets him apart as an exceptional leader.

“Adam’s leadership is a huge part of what makes Boundary Waters Care Center thrive,” said Amber Rogotzke, president of Health Dimensions Group. “He and his team help provide their residents with the ability to confidently live their best lives every day, and we can’t thank him enough for his commitment to them. Adam is deserving of this award, and we are immensely proud of him.”

Under Masloski’s leadership, BWCC received a 100% resident and family satisfaction score, and he led fundraising efforts for his nonprofit care center to ensure it has the resources to support local seniors and their families for years to come. Also, his commitment to quality helped increase their CMS 5-Star Quality Rating from one to four in just two years.

Founded 25 years ago, HDG’s mission is to make lives better by providing quality care, service, and consulting. HDG manages 41 senior living and care communities in nine states, caring for more than 2,800 residents.
