Officer assisted an Ely squad with a report of unauthorized use of an Ely resident’s motor vehicle by a person in Babbitt. Determined to be a misunderstanding, and the borrowed vehicle was promptly returned.
Officer responded for a brave deer repeatedly blocking traffic on the highway. Deer was observed to be in good physical condition, just rather confused, and scared back into the woods so traffic could resume unimpeded.
