Officer assisted an Ely squad with a domestic disturbance. Parties calmed and separated for the evening.

Officers assisted a St. Louis County squad with a report of a motor vehicle accident.

Officers assisted a St. Louis County squad with a report of a suspicious person at a local cemetery. Report was determined to be unfounded.

Officer responded for a report of an erratic driver. Vehicle was located and it was determined the individual was having a medical issue. Assistance rendered.

Officer assisted an Ely squad with a report of unauthorized use of an Ely resident’s motor vehicle by a person in Babbitt. Determined to be a misunderstanding, and the borrowed vehicle was promptly returned.

Officer responded for a brave deer repeatedly blocking traffic on the highway. Deer was observed to be in good physical condition, just rather confused, and scared back into the woods so traffic could resume unimpeded.

Officers assisted a local business with documenting a civil issue.

Officer responded for a welfare check request. Individual was found to be ok.

Officer assisted an Ely squad with a report of a domestic disturbance involving a firearm. Individual gone on arrival, assault charges pending.

Officers participated in a memorial service for a local fire chief.

Officer assisted an Ely squad for a report of a burglary in progress. Individual gone on arrival, trespass pending.

Officer responded for a disturbance at a local business. Adult female trespassed from the establishment.

Officer assisted a disabled motorist.

Officer responded for a report of a domestic disturbance. Adult male arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault.

Officer responded for a report of an open door at the school bus garage. Building checked as a precaution and all was well.

Officer stopped a vehicle for no tag light. Adult male cited for driving with a suspended license.

Officer responded for a report of an erratic driver. Vehicle was located and it was determined to be a young teenager with a brand new license. Friendly driving advice given.

Officers performed two separate civil stand-bys.

Officers responded for two separate 911-hang ups. Both were accidental calls.

Officer performed multiple public assists.

Officers made eight traffic stops. Warnings given for various driving and equipment violations.

Officers assisted Babbitt EMS with two medical emergencies.
