Visiting Proctor had too much depth and rolled to an easy win over Northeast Range/Ely in the Nighthawks’ second dual meet of the season.
The Rails won all but one contested event on the way to a 52-38 high school girls swimming victory on Aug. 29.
Via DeBeltz, a junior, picked up the Nighthawks’ only contested individual win.

NRE’s Alyssa Ice had a second-place individual showing, taking second in the 50 freestyle in 29.23 seconds.
Ice also took third in the 100 freestyle (1:09.39) and the Nighthawks’ Tuuli Koivisto placed third in the 500 in 7:04.66.
Koivisto also was third in the 200 individual medley (3:02.11), and NRE’s 200 medley relay of Isla Carlson, Jorden Borchhert, Ivy Ohlhauser and Brynn Larson took third (2:32.78).
Also third was the 200 freestyle relay foursome of Ice, Larson, Koivisto and DeBeltz (2:31.75).
After the meet was decided, Proctor put its swimmers as “exhibition’” status for the remaining events.
