All are invited to a concert at the Birch Lake beach on Sunday, August 18 at 11 a.m. Minnesota Adult and Teen Challenge Choir will be performing and Sharing with Babbitt Assembly of God at the Birch Lake Beach. This will be at the main log pavilion. There will be a baptism service and a free hamburger and brat picnic meal following the service. Adult and Teen challenge is the most successful drug and alcohol addiction recovery program. Please plan to come and hear about the miracles of broken lives restored.
Embarrass Fair fun begins on Friday, Aug. 16, at 3 p.m. with the 16th annual Danny Theel Memorial Team Penning and Ranch Sorting weekend in the horse arena.
The Embarrass Fair will be held this year on August 23-25. A firearms safety field day class will be held on Saturday, Sept. 7. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. The class will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. depending on the class size. Requirements: Student must be 11 years old before the class start date listed above and have completed the online course in order to be eligible to take this class. A parent or legal guardian must register the student. Pre-registration is required. Lunch will be provided. Contact Terri at 218-827-2633.
