Dear Ely Community, I’m writing to thank everyone who participated in the Big Sale at the Depot and especially the Ott family and friends who worked long and hard to clean and organize all the items. And then they donated the entire proceeds to Ely Community Resource!

It was fun to reminisce with people and imagine the long history of outfitting preceded by train traffic there--assisted by Carl Gawboy’s memorable painting, of course.

We are very grateful for this generous gift of money for our youth programs and the connection the event provided with our Ely community. Making Ely a great place to grow up is a team sport! Thank you.
