A league powerhouse is the only unbeaten team after two weeks of adult slow-pitch softball action at the Jerome Debeltz Fields.
Anderson/Nickerson Construction picked up two more wins on Monday, including a 9-6 victory against previously unbeaten Ely Liquor, to improve to 4-0 for the young season.
The other contest wasn’t much of one for Anderson/ Nickerson, which blew out Zup’s 12-0.
In other action, Insula beat Zup’s 6-4 and Ely Liquor picked up a 10-3 victory against Insula.
Standings through two weeks are: Anderson/Nickerson, 4-0; Ely Liquor, 3-1; Insula, 1-3; Zup’s 0-4.
The teams play each Monday evening, starting at 6 p.m., with league action continuing into early-August at the softball complex on Ely’s eastern edge.
